Margaret Cockerill

Margaret was born and raised in Toronto. Her parents were both from a small village in Prince Edward Island, and she was lucky enough to spend her summers there swimming and fishing the days away.

She enjoys all sports and has been called “somewhat competitive” by friends over the years.

A key member of the firm’s financial planning team, Margaret began working in financial planning in 1981, and earned her Certified Financial Planner^® designation in 1987. She feels fortunate to continue to work with some of her earliest clients. Since joining HG Partners in 2006, she has been able to continue helping clients define and achieve their financial goals.

Margaret and her husband, Bob, have two daughters, Kimberly, and Christy (as well as a four legged one named Chloe). They enjoy socializing with friends, travelling and spending time skiing and relaxing at their chalet in Collingwood.
